First Lady Michelle Obama wears a pintucked magenta silk chine dress by Michael Kors, paired with a black cardigan and a House of Lavande Vintage brooch for her husband’s acceptance speech in Chicago.
People are so concern of her so called "recycled " clothes and obviously waiting for all her outfit ever since she became the First Lady. According to news, she worn this dress twice before. Obama source told people that she chose the dress because, “she was so busy with the campaign and their kids that she had no time to think about an outfit and decided at the last minute.”
Michelle first wore the dress to a White House holiday part in 2009, wearing it again for a military event in November of 2010, according to the Huffington Post.
My say: She looks beautiful, classy and wears her clothes well no matter how many times she wears it. It is nice to see her chose not to wear some expensive new dress and wears an outfit more than once, just like most women. This only proves how smart she is for not spending the people’s money on a new dress.

She looks good in it and also commend her for not spending money to buy a new dress for the event.
ReplyDeleteit's just sad that media had to make it an issue about her clothes. so what if she wears them several times? there's nothing wrong with that right? At least it only shows that she doesn't spend money like every first lady do. she's simple in her own way, which i think she looks fabulous in that dress
ReplyDeleteIt does looks good on her and she always wear something that not cost much..
ReplyDeletethat means she maintained her weight after all those years of wearing the dress a couple of times. i'm sure she has money earned for herself and not just the money from the people. she's smart.
ReplyDeleteI agree, I think it's very commendable that she is not that particular with what she's going to wear. But some people always has something to say or criticize about it :-)
ReplyDeleteEven though she is the First Lady of the richest country but still she remains humble.I salute her for that.
ReplyDeleteshe still pretty with her dress even she wore it man times
ReplyDeleteWell, she looks good and she wears it well. that's all that matters.
ReplyDeletevery true. I'd rather see her repeat her clothes than waste a few thousand bucks on a dress she'll only wear once. US economy is struggling. This is not the time to be extravagant.
ReplyDeleteSecond hand/used or let me say UKAY2 still good clothes. Simplicity is what the first lady wanted to project. It doesn't matter how the clothes look like, new or old as long as you carry it perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI agree. And I like it that she's that practical. It doesn't matter how many times a dress is worn, as long as it looks good on you and it's comfortable.
ReplyDeleteShe really knows how to dress properly. I like her choices too. And Barrack was correct when he said that the whole America also fell in love with her.
