Priscilla Chan got married to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg on Saturday, May 20. It was a surprise ceremony at the couples home in Palo Alto, California, attended by less than visitors who thought that they were there to celebrate Priscilla's graduation to medical school.
Priscilla, wore a white gown by Claire Pettibone, a Los Angeles designer. Chan's dress overlaid with lace cost $4,700.
Claire's husband was the one who recognized the gown, "My husband Guy is checking the day’s news on his phone while I am about to drift off … 'HONEY! Mark Zuckerberg … the Facebook guy,' " Pettibone wrote. " 'He got married today, and the bride … the bride … the bride …' " Yeah? WHAT?!! " 'She’s wearing your gown, look!' "
Priscilla bought the gown under the alias "Pricilla Taun" in Denver, at one of the bridal boutiques carrying Claire's line.
It is a simple but beautiful gown that still makes her a blushing bride. Simplicity counts a lot for me, need not bash nor be luxurious even if you can afford it.

ReplyDeleteNice gown. i think all gown is beautiful to me. Haha! I remember when I was preparing for my own wedding almost 2yrs ago, it was the hardest thing to do aside from making the list for final guests. Haha!

it was a very memorable week for both priscilla and mark. it was a surprise really that the wedding would end their already-eventful week. such great timing!
